Registration & Fees

Registration is currently available via the RegOnline system.  The posted registration fee includes all planned on-campus events and meals, as detailed on the schedule page.  The optional Sunday field trip requires an additional $20 fee as noted on the registration pages.

Registration fees:

  • Professional presenter/author – $40
  • General attendee – $40
  • Student (presenter/author or general attendee) – $40
  • Current W&M Students may attend all non-meal events for free by showing Student ID

Registration Check-In

Friday night participants may check-in before or after the 5pm Aileen Smith opening talk in Andrews Hall, Room 101 (directions below).

If arriving on Saturday, registration will be available all day in the lobby of the Sadler Center, starting at 8am (again, directions below!)

Presentation Venues
Almost all workshops, posters, and presentations will be exhibited at the Sadler Center, the central meeting building at the College of William & Mary.  Special presentations including plays, films, or other submissions with unique considerations will be scheduled in consultation with the EXPO producers.

Hotel Accommodations
The EXPO has secured a limited amount of rooms at a guest rate of $109 per night at the Williamsburg Hospitality House, located directly across from the entrance to the College of William & Mary and a brief walk from the Sadler Center in which most of the EXPO events are scheduled for the weekend.

To make a reservation at this rate, participants should call the Hospital House reservation office at 1-800-932-9192 and request the “International Mercury EXPO” conference rate.  The discount will last until all reserved rooms are booked or March 23, 2010, whichever comes first (update: the deadline has passed, but you can still inquire about rooms in the EXPO reservation when calling the Hospitality House).

Transportation
The EXPO will not be providing shuttles from the three local airports.  Participants should expect to plan their transport from the airports to Williamsburg via rental car, bus, taxi, or alternate means.  The individual airport websites (listed above) provide additional information on available transport.
